Death Doula | Death Literacy Educator | Pet Loss Counsellor
My name is Angela and I work in end-of-life support, death literacy and community education.
I am a Death Doula, based in Sydney, supporting people navigating death, dying and Voluntary Assisted Dying, while also helping individuals and families have practical and meaningful conversations around end-of-life planning, grief and mortality.
I work closely with councils, community organisations and the broader public as a Death Literacy Educator to facilitate Death Cafes, Death Cafe-style events, workshops and community conversations that encourage open discussion around subjects many people avoid - death, dying, grief and end-of-life planning.
I am also a Pet Doula and Pet Loss Counsellor, providing support for ageing, dying and seriously unwell animals, along with pet loss and anticipatory grief support for the humans who love them.
My work is practical and conversation-focused, creating space for people to explore mortality, prepare for the realities of death and build greater confidence around end-of-life decision making and planning.
You can explore upcoming events and workshops HERE.
